# Managing UTM Links

### Accessing UTM Builder

You can access the UTM Builder section either by navigating to [UTM Links](https://app.qrcampaign.io/view-utm-links) directly or by clicking on **UTM Builder** from the left-hand side menu after logging into your account.

### UTM Links Overview

When you first click on **UTM Builder**, you will see a page displaying all your UTM links. Here you can:

* **View**: Click on a UTM link to view its details.
* **Create UTM Link**: Click on the **"Create UTM Link"** button to add a new UTM link.

#### Action Section

In the main UTM Builder page, the **Action** section allows you to:

* **View**: Open the UTM link details.

### Creating a UTM Link

To create a new UTM link, click on the **"Create UTM Link"** button. You will be taken to a page where you can enter the UTM parameters:

* **Website URL**: Enter the URL of the website you want to track.
* **Campaign**: Identify the specific marketing campaign (e.g., black\_friday, easter\_sale).
* **Medium**: Identify the medium sending traffic (e.g., email, print, social).
* **Source**: Identify the source of traffic (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn).
* **Campaign ID**: An ID for the ad campaign.
* **Term**: Used for search ads to track search terms.
* **Content**: Used for ads that point to the same URL but with different ad contents.

You can also toggle tracking on or off and use the link shortener.

#### Link Shortener and Tracking

The UTM Builder includes a link shortener to create concise links. You can also toggle tracking for each UTM link.

* **Copy Link**: Copy the generated UTM link.
* **Shorten URL**: Shorten the URL for easier sharing.

### Viewing UTM Link Details

To view the details of a UTM link, click on the view icon in the **Action** section. You will see the generated URL, shortened URL, tracking status, number of visits, and the date it was added.
